Steam and Cuisine Luncheon Three Course Menu

Please be aware that we continue to be guided by the health advice of the Victorian Government and have adopted a set of safety measures to keep you, our staff, and volunteers safe.
 
You must tell us about all passengers in your party, including children under 4, so we can ensure we have sufficient space in our carriages to safely accommodate you. Any additional passengers that are not part of your booking, including children under 4 years of age, may be refused travel due to their presence exceeding Government regulations for passenger numbers.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE YOU BOOK

Please follow instructions from our friendly platform staff who are there for your safety and the wellbeing of all passengers.

  • QR Code Check In
    Upon arrival, all patrons must scan the QR code located at the entry point of the station you will be departing from and follow the check-in prompts on your device. Please also scan the QR codes every time you visit a station, platform, or any railway location. This is a requirement of all passengers, including minors.
  • COVID-19 Vaccination Status Requirement
    As a condition of entry, all patrons over the age of 18 must show proof of their COVID-19 vaccination status unless lawful exception applies. Before you arrive, please make sure you have added your COVID-19 digital certificate to the Service Victoria app or bring printed proof of your vaccination, or applicable medical exemption, with you. Proof of ID will be required when providing a printed certificate. If you are unsure how to obtain your COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate, please refer to the Victorian Government's Coronavirus website at https://www.coronavirus.vic.gov.au/vaxproof.
  • Fitted Face Mask Requirement
    All patrons over the age of 8 must wear a fitted face mask indoors, including in carriages, unless a lawful exception applies. Visitors will not be permitted entry if they do not have a fitted face mask on that covers their nose and mouth. Please note, the mandatory wearing of fitted face masks is subject to change by the Victorian Government and visitors will be expected to adhere to the rules that are in place at the time.
  • Carriage Allocation System
    There will be a carriage allocation system and you will be notified on arrival of your allocation. Kindly ensure that you sit in the same carriage on the return journey.
  • Carriage allocations if travelling with someone else
    If you are travelling with someone else and they have booked their tickets separately, please indicate this in the "Notes" field in your online booking. We will do our best to seat you together.
  • Maximum 25 persons per carriage (except for Carriage Hire)
    Our train capacity will be limited to 25 per carriage, except for the Carriage Hire product (maximum 15 persons).

CHILDREN
Whilst we welcome children in our heritage dining carriages, we can only accommodate children aged 5 years and above.   As a result, babies, toddlers and young ones under five years of age, cannot travel in our dining carriages.  These age restrictions have been carefully considered in the interests of health and safety.

CATERING
Online bookings for the 'Steam & Cuisine Luncheon' are available until 4pm the business day prior to travel unless sold out prior.

WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO SELECT YOUR MENU CHOICES AT TIME OF BOOKING
Please choose one Entrée, one Main course and one Dessert per passenger. However, if unsure, please proceed with your booking without selecting any menu choices. Your booking confirmation will provide details about how to advise your menu choices at a later time. Please note that this must be advised at least 72 hours prior to travelling.

SPECIAL DIETS
Puffing Billy Railway can only cater for the following special dietary requirements for the Three Course Menu:
*  vegetarians    *  gluten free / celiacs (Menu choice marked as gf for gluten free and as gfo for gluten free option)   *  diabetics
Kindly ensure you advise us at least 72 hours prior to travel should you have one of the above dietary requirements. When booking online, you can advise your special diet to us using the NOTES box. To confirm all requests, please ensure you advise us at least 72 hours prior to departure by calling our Customer Service Team on (03) 9757 0700 otherwise we cannot guarantee your request.

TABLE CONFIGURATIONS
Due to the heritage nature of our dining carriages, the table configurations can seat up to two (2) or up to four (4) people.  If your party consists of more than 4 people, we will do our best to ensure your tables are located close to each other.

PASSENGERS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS (eg wheel chair access) must contact Puffing Billy抯 Customer Service Centre on 03 9757 0700 rather than book online. This way we can determine whether your needs can be accommodated.
